Who You Are
- A Game Builder:You have hands-onexperience building and shipping gamesor interactive applications in Unity, not only tutorials and game jams.
- A Player-Focused Developer: You care about game feel, clear feedback and the moment-to-moment experience, and you playtest your own work critically.
- An Ownership-Driven Engineer: You don't wait for detailed instructions for every task. You can take a game concept, break it into technical tasks, and take ownership until it is delivered.
- A Strong ProblemSolver: You enjoy debugging difficult issues like frame drops, WebGL memory limits and platform-specific bugs, and finding practical solutions rather than relying on workarounds.
- A Systems Thinker:You build reusablecomponents and templatesso the next game takes days, not weeks.
- A Performance-Minded Engineer:You understand that a game isn't done until it runs smoothly on every target device and browser.
- A Quality-Minded Engineer:You write clean, maintainable, and reusablecode. You believe in code reviews, testing, proper version control, and solving problems at the root rather than just fixing symptoms.
- A Fast Learner:Engines, platforms and tools evolvefast. You are comfortable learning new libraries, tools, and approaches when the project requires them.
- A Team Player:You work closelywith game designers, artists, backend developers, QA, and technical leadership. You communicate clearly and are comfortable discussing technical decisions and trade-offs.
