About the role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and commercially aware Fashion Designer with 2–3 years of experience in women’s ethnic wear, particularly kurtis, cotton garments, and Indian prints.
The candidate will be responsible for developing current collections that reflect Evara’s design philosophy, researching trends, creating silhouettes and prints, developing samples, and coordinating with merchandising and production teams to ensure that designs are translated into well-finished, production-ready garments.
You’ll be working on -
1. Develop creative concepts and seasonal collections aligned with Evara’s brand identity.
2. Build cohesive collections with a balance of trend-led designs and timeless everyday essentials.
3. Contribute ideas for expanding Evara’s product range while maintaining a consistent brand aesthetic.
4. Research fashion trends, colour palettes, silhouettes, prints, and evolving consumer preferences.
5. Prepare mood boards, colour boards, inspiration boards, and collection concepts.
6. Translate trend research into practical designs that suit Evara’s target customer and price positioning.
7. Coordinate fabric swatches, print strike-offs, colour approvals, and sample development.
8. Create size charts and measurement specifications in coordination with the production team.
9. Review prototypes for fit, silhouette, proportions, comfort, construction, and overall appearance.

Identify opportunities to optimise material usage and construction without compromising design or quality.
What you bring along - required experience and skill set -
- Strong creative and visual design sensibility.
- Good understanding of silhouettes, colours, prints, and fabric behaviour.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with other relevant design software is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare technical sketches, specification sheets, and production-ready design documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple styles, sampling timelines, and design priorities.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of value-driven fashion.
- Willingness to experiment, take ownership, and contribute ideas in a growing team.
