Description

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Global Trade Services solutions across global operations. This role requires deep expertise in international trade processes, customs management, compliance management, and integration with SAP ERP/S/4HANA and external systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design end-to-end architecture for SAP GTS across multiple business units and regions.
- Define global templates for Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
- Architect GTS solutions for sanctioned party list screening, embargo checks, license determination, and document control.
- Drive the design for automated customs filing, trade documentation, duty management, and preferential origin.
- Build scalable GTS designs aligned with corporate trade policies and regulatory requirements.




- Lead integrations between GTS and SAP ECC / S4HANA (Feeder Systems).
- Guide ABAP and Technical teams on enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and performance tuning.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance teams to define end-to-end trade processes.
- Ensure adherence to global trade regulations like: Export Administration Regulations (EAR) International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) EU Dual-Use Regulations Customs compliance requirements
- Lead multi-country, multi-phase GTS rollouts.
- Provide solution governance during project lifecycle (Blueprint to Hypercare).
- Manage senior stakeholders, including Trade Compliance Directors and Business Process Owners.

Requirements :

- 15+ years of deep SAP GTS hands-on experience.
- Solid background in global trade compliance, customs, and export/import regulations.
- Experience with S/4HANA GTS Integration S/4HANA International Trade (if applicable).
- Understanding of logistics processes (OTC, P2P, Inventory, Transportation).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
- SAP GTS certifications preferable.
- Trade compliance certifications (e.g., ITAR/EAR, ECCN, customs compliance) are an advantage.
