Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Science leader with a strong engineering foundation and deep expertise in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging Generative AI technologies.

The ideal candidate will combine technical depth with strategic thinking, business consulting, solution design, and client engagement capabilities. This role requires the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable, AI-driven solutions while guiding technical teams and contributing to organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Science &
- AI Leadership: Lead the design and development of advanced Data Science, AI/ML, Deep Learning, and Generative AI solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Technical Strategy: Define technical approaches, modeling strategies, and solution architectures for complex business problems.
- Model Development: Guide the end-to-end Data Science lifecycle, including problem formulation, data exploration, feature engineering, model selection, validation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Generative AI &
- Innovation: Evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and other advanced AI techniques, to solve real-world business challenges.
- Solutioning &
- Consulting: Understand client requirements, identify business opportunities, and develop effective, scalable, and commercially viable AI-driven solutions.
- Presales &
- Business Development: Contribute to presales activities, technical proposals,



solution presentations, proof-of-concept strategy, and client discussions.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to understand their challenges, communicate technical concepts, and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, consulting, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of AI and Data Science initiatives.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide and mentor Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and technical teams, fostering strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Business Impact: Ensure that Data Science and AI initiatives deliver measurable business value, operational efficiency, and sustainable outcomes.
- Industry Exposure: Apply Data Science and AI capabilities across multiple business domains and industry verticals.

Required Qualifications &

- Experience

- 14+ years of overall qualified experience, with a strong background in Data Science and AI.
- A bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Data Science, statistical modeling, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Solid understanding of Deep Learning, model evaluation, optimization, and production-oriented AI applications.




- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Data Science lifecycle and its practical business applications.
- Ability to evaluate complex business problems and translate them into effective analytical and AI solutions.
- Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and modern AI application development.
- Experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, presales, or client-facing solutioning.
- Experience contributing to technical proposals, client presentations, business pursuits, and solution demonstrations.
- Exposure to multiple industry domains, such as healthcare, retail, manufacturing, telecom, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, energy, or other enterprise sectors.
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring senior professionals, or driving large-scale Data Science and AI initiatives.
- An engineering degree from a premier institution, preferably IIT, NIT, or BITS.
