The Opportunity

Business Development Executive

- Location: Hyderabad
- Experience : Minimum 2 years

You will help expand TripMeld's presence among travel businesses. You will connect with travel agencies and tour operators, understand their business challenges, introduce TripMeld's technology solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and help convert qualified prospects into customers. The role combines travel industry knowledge with technology and business development. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand the market, generate opportunities, and contribute directly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and research potential travel agencies, tour operators, travel consultants, and other travel businesses.
- Develop recent business opportunities within the assigned market.
- Build relationships with travel-business owners and key decision-makers.
- Understand customer requirements, business processes, and operational challenges.
- Identify opportunities where TripMeld's technology can create value.




- Customer Engagement & Product Demonstrations
- Connect with prospects through meetings, calls, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
- Visit prospective travel businesses when required and build face-to-face relationships.
- Conduct engaging and professional demonstrations of the TripMeld platform.
- Explain how TripMeld can improve lead management, follow-ups, quotations, communication, websites, and operations.
- Understand customer objections and communicate the value proposition effectively.

Sales & Conversion
- Manage prospects throughout the business development journey.
- Follow up consistently with qualified opportunities.
- Convert prospects into paying TripMeld customers.
- Work toward individual and team business development targets.

Market Intelligence

- Develop a strong understanding of the travel-agency ecosystem in Hyderabad.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Track competitor offerings and communicate relevant market insights to the team.
- Provide feedback that can improve TripMeld's product, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.

CRM & Business Reporting
- Maintain accurate prospect and customer information in TripMeld CRM.
- Record meetings, demos, follow-ups, opportunities, and conversions.
- Track pipeline and performance against targets.
- Share regular updates with the Business Development team.

What Makes This Role Different?

Preferred Educational Background

- BBA / MBA – Tourism & Travel Management
- BBA / MBA – Marketing
- Hospitality or related business programs

Experience

Freshers are welcome. Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, travel, tourism, hospitality, customer success, or other client-facing roles are also encouraged to apply.
