Job Summary

JKR Consulting & Services is looking for an experienced Plumbing BIM Modeler with strong technical expertise in Revit-based plumbing modelling, BIM coordination, and construction documentation. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working on European projects and demonstrate excellent knowledge of developing plumbing BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 500, including detailed modelling, documentation, coordination, and quality checks.

Candidates must be capable of delivering accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready plumbing models in accordance with project requirements and applicable European project standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Develop detailed plumbing BIM models using Autodesk Revit, covering LOD 300, LOD 350, LOD 400, and LOD 500 requirements.

Prepare and maintain plumbing layouts, including domestic water supply, hot and cold water distribution, sanitary drainage, soil and waste systems, vent piping, and rainwater drainage, as applicable to the project scope.

Interpret architectural, structural, plumbing design drawings, specifications, and project standards to develop accurate BIM models.

Create and update plumbing layouts, pipe routing, fittings, valves, equipment connections, and other required system components.

Prepare detailed plumbing shop drawings, coordinated drawings, sections, elevations, isometric drawings, and installation documentation as required.

Develop model-based documentation, including plans, sections, schedules, annotations, tags, and quantity-related information.

Ensure appropriate model detail, component representation,



and information requirements for each specified LOD.

Coordinate plumbing services with HVAC, electrical, fire protection, architectural, and structural disciplines.

Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks Manage or other project-approved coordination tools.

Identify and resolve clashes related to pipe routing, ceiling spaces, shafts, equipment clearances, and service access.

Incorporate approved coordination comments, design revisions, and client feedback into the BIM model and associated drawings.

Conduct model quality checks to verify routing accuracy, connectivity, system consistency, documentation completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Follow project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), modelling guidelines, naming conventions, worksharing procedures, and Common Data Environment (CDE) protocols.

Support model reviews, coordination meetings, issue tracking, and timely submission of BIM deliverables.

Maintain consistency between the coordinated Revit model, issued drawings, and approved project information.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit for plumbing BIM modelling.

Practical experience in LOD 300, LOD 350, LOD 400, and LOD 500 modelling and documentation.

Previous experience working on European building or infrastructure projects is mandatory.

Good understanding of plumbing systems, pipe routing, fittings, valves,



drainage systems, and equipment connections.

Experience in plumbing shop drawings, coordinated drawings, schedules, and construction documentation.

Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and BIM coordination workflows.

Understanding of BIM standards, model quality checks, clash resolution, and project documentation procedures.

Ability to interpret design drawings and independently complete assigned modelling and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant Plumbing BIM Modelling experience.

Strong practical knowledge of Revit-based plumbing modelling and documentation.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with European project delivery requirements and applicable project-specific standards.

Experience working with BIM Execution Plans, model review comments, and CDE workflows.

Positive communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
