Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at an Orion Group Of Hotels property in New Delhi. The Barista prepares and serves coffee, tea, and other beverages to guests, following established recipes and presentation standards.

Responsibilities include operating coffee machines and related equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the café or lobby service area, and ensuring adequate stock of ingredients and supplies. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders accurately, handling payments,



and responding to questions about the menu in a professional and courteous manner. The Barista collaborates with the food and beverage team, supports light food preparation as needed, and follows all safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines to uphold the brand’s hospitality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage warmly with guests and handle inquiries or issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, equipment handling, and basic knowledge of coffee and tea varieties.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to listen carefully, convey information clearly, and work smoothly with team members.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills for basic snack or café-style items, while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hospitality or café environments, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; formal barista or food & beverage training is an advantage.
