Role Description The Ass Accounts Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at the upcoming Hotel Centre Point property in Navi Mumbai. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reviewing and posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate ledger maintenance.

Manager will assist in preparing financial statements, coordinating bank reconciliations, monitoring cash flows, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. This role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, supporting internal and external audits, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the hotel’s financial assets.

Manager will work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to provide timely financial insights that support effective decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable handling, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support cost control, revenue tracking, and strategic planning.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, along with the ability to work with hotel management systems and other financial tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes applicable to hospitality and hotel operations.
- Candidates should possess robust attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality finance is beneficial, along with a willingness to work on-site in Navi Mumbai and adapt to the group’s expanding operations.
