Role Description The Articled Assistant will support the firm’s audit, tax, and accounting engagements under the guidance of team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing working papers, performing vouching and ledger scrutiny, and helping with financial statement preparation. The role also involves supporting direct and indirect tax compliance, including return preparation, documentation, and basic research on tax and regulatory matters.





Qualifications

- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountancy (registered with ICAI as an Article) and eligible for Articleship training.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement concepts.
- Interest in audit, assurance, and tax compliance, with willingness to learn statutory, tax, and internal audit procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfort with accounting or ERP software; familiarity with audit tools is an advantage.
- Positive written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to completing the full Articleship tenure.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in an accounting or CA firm is beneficial but not mandatory.
