Role: GCP Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Responsibilities:
-
• Design, implement, and support highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes/GKE clusters, ensuring platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and automation frameworks.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and release management.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance using Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Administer and support Kafka/Confluent Platform,



service networking, and Istio service mesh environments.
• Manage cloud databases including AlloyDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal performance and resiliency.
• Implement security controls, compliance standards, incident response, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous reliability improvements through SRE principles.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and operations teams to achieve SLAs, automate operational tasks, and improve system observability.
