Job Description (JD) – Accounts Receivable Executive (Salon Industry)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Executive to manage the complete receivables cycle for our salon business across multiple branches. The role involves invoice generation, payment follow-up, branch reconciliation, customer account management, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues.
The ideal candidate should have experience in handling high-volume transactions, daily revenue reconciliation, payment tracking through multiple channels such as cash, credit card, UPI, wallet.
This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, reducing outstanding receivables, and ensuring accurate financial records across all salon locations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Billing & Revenue Management
Ensure invoices are prepared as per company pricing policies, approved discounts, GST compliance, and billing procedures.
Validate branch-wise billing data received from POS systems.
Monitor revenue leakage and incorrect billing transactions.
2. Accounts Receivable Management
Maintain customer-wise and branch-wise receivable ledgers.
Track outstanding dues from customers, membership balances, package receivables, and corporate tie-up clients.
Ensure timely recovery of overdue balances.
3. Payment Collection & Follow-Up
Coordinate with branch managers/front desk teams for payment collections.
Resolve delayed payment issues and disputes.
Escalate chronic overdue accounts to management.
4. Daily Reconciliation




Reconcile daily collections with invoices raised across all salons.
Verify cash, card, UPI, wallet, online aggregator collections.
Investigate mismatches in payment receipts and system entries.
Ensure payment gateway settlements are received and accounted properly.
5. Compliance & Audit Support
Maintain proper records of invoices, receipts, credit notes, debit notes, and supporting documents.
Assist during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure GST compliance on receivable transactions.
Maintain documentation for corporate billing agreements.

Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable cycle
GST and invoice compliance knowledge.
POS system understanding (Retail / Salon software)
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Table, SUMIF, SUMIFS)

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com
- 2 to 4 years' experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience in Salon / Retail / Hospitality / FMCG preferred

High-volume daily transaction environment
