Payroll Specialist A Fortune 200 company building its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India

A Fortune 200 company is standing up its Global Capability Centre in India and has partnered with Flexiple to build its payroll function from close to scratch. As a Payroll Specialist, you run the monthly payroll cycle end to end for a growing India headcount: inputs, processing, statutory deductions, and the queries that land in your inbox once salaries hit.

Collect and validate monthly payroll inputs from HR, finance, and business teams

Process payroll runs accurately and on schedule, including new joiners, exits, and revisions

Reconcile payroll registers against the general ledger before disbursal

Resolve employee payroll queries directly, without a long escalation chain

Ensure PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax are calculated and deposited correctly and on time

File monthly and annual statutory returns, and keep documentation audit-ready





Track changes in payroll-related regulation and update processes accordingly

Two to six years running payroll processing and statutory compliance in India, ideally across a headcount large enough that no two months look the same. Working knowledge of a payroll or HRIS system, and explicit written and spoken English for cross-team coordination.

Exposure to a large payroll platform such as SAP, ADP, or Darwinbox

A degree or certification in HR, commerce, or a related field

A founding payroll seat inside a Fortune 200 company's own India centre
