Accounting / Bookkeeping

- Reviewing the financial transactions data and documents such as revenue, purchases, payments, and receipts, Classifying, storing records/ bills physical and in the cloud.
- Perform accounting with detailed records, Passing financial transactions, such as revenue, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Transfer the information from the journal to the appropriate account in the General Ledger.
- Reconcile the statements: with bank and credit card statements with accounting records to ensure that all transactions are matched and accurate.
- Reconcile accounts: Reconcile the account balances in the General Ledger with the bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy

End-to-end management of financial reporting and Statutory Audits, as well as assisting the Corporate Controller with data and schedules for parent entity audits.

- Proactively review financial statements, identify exceptions or inconsistencies, and initiate follow-up actions for logical and timely closure.
- Updating variance and other trackers for reporting, collating of supporting documentations for MIS.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested

Accounts payable

- Own the end-to-end accounts payable process, general ledger maintenance, and monthly book closure
- Manage all bank accounts, funds transfers, and salary disbursements, ensuring necessary payment approvals are secured with documented audit trails.
- Weekly Payments: Prepare/Review the payables statement on weekly basis, obtaining the approvals and tracking the payments till bank approvals.




- Direct taxes
- Advance tax calculations and any others.
- Own and assist in TDS compliance, quarterly returns and audits
- Assist in preparing detailed workings required for annual tax returns and advance tax payments

Indirect Taxes

- Monthly GST reconciliation and reports, Filing of GST returns GSTR-1 and 3B: Review
- Co-ordinating with external consultants for GST annual return filing, GST Refund process.
- Own and assist in GST compliance, monthly returns and audits
- Co-ordinate with consultants for GST refund applications and other GST compliances

Own statutory compliance, return filings, audits, and ROC / MCA filings in coordination with corporate legal and secretarial consultants.

- General Ledger & Process Improvement
- Oversee the entire general ledger function and manage day-to-day accounting activities while identifying and implementing more efficient and automated processes and procedures.
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures in a timely manner, including the preparation and review of monthly reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts and supporting schedules.

Experience: 8+ years in Accounts and bookkeeping. Previous experience of working in small finance teams is preferred.

- Excel proficiency - Intermediate level.
- Knowledge of India accounting principles
- Technical Skills: experience in QuickBooks/ Zoho Books/ tally.
- Communication: Positive command of English, both written and verbal, adapted to diverse business needs.
- Basic knowledge of Spanish
