Job Brief

Acufore is seeking a Design Engineer-Heavy Engineering to work in a balanced workplace at a fast-growing company with established clientele.

Job Description:

- Participate in a Team culture, from initial design to prototyping and testing, working with Sales, manufacturing, and testing teams by providing unique out-of-the-box designs utilizing specific scopes of work.
- Primary Designs are for custom heavy engineered products like lifting equipment, Forestry Equipment, earth-moving equipment and attachments for Skid steer, Backhoe, Excavator, tractor, etc., using SolidWorks, Inventor and Solid Edge.
- Develop design concepts, engineering calculations, 3D models, and detailed drawings, while working closely with international customers and their fabrications.
- CAD automation, programming, Macro development (experience in VBA, DriveWorks,



or other programming languages required).
- Communicating with customers and validating/signing-off approval drawings, creating as-built updates, maintaining project records including change-orders/ adders and participating in Lessons-Learned/Best Practices Post Project Analysis.
- Attending customer pre-design discussions, project kick-off calls and providing development engineering support.

Academic & trades qualifications:

(UG- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma-Mechanical, Production/Industrial)

Work experience & skills:

2-5 years of Experience in (Design-Heavy Equipment, Sheet metal design, Basic understanding about GD &T; and Manufacturing processes)
