We are looking for an Accountant to manage day-to-day finance operations for our India entity while supporting group-level reporting and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced start-up environment, can independently own financial processes, and is ready to build and mentor a small finance team as the company scales.

Financial Operations & Accounting
Own end-to-end accounting operations for the India entity, including AP/AR, payroll coordination, and general ledger management
Manage statutory compliance — GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, and other applicable Indian regulatory filings
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies

Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analysis




Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making
4-5 years of progressive finance/accounting experience

Ensure adherence to Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and statutory requirements & IFRS
Establish and maintain internal financial controls and SOPs
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities

Lead and mentor junior finance/accounting team members
Partner with People/HR, Operations, and Leadership on budgeting, payroll finance inputs, and vendor payments
Liaise with the broader Valeo Health finance function (including ADGM entity finance) for cross-entity coordination

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce; semi- qualified CA / M.com preferred
4-6 years of progressive finance/accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of Indian statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, corporate tax)
Prior experience in a start-up or fast-growth environment strongly preferred
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books) and MS Excel/Google Sheets
Health tech, healthcare, or regulated-industry experience is a plus
