Senior Java Developer We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to build and maintain a web-based enterprise platform serving the education sector.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys working in a mature codebase and wants to see their work used by schools and institutions every day. You will work across a large Java web application and a modern REST service layer, delivering new features, regulatory updates and defect fixes.

Mandatory Skills : Java 11, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML

What you will do
Design, develop and maintain server-side features in a large Java web application
Build and extend REST APIs
Write and optimize MySQL queries, schema changes and data migration scripts
Develop and maintain multilingual reports and printable documents
Implement annual regulatory and compliance updates
Investigate and resolve production defects using logs and request tracing
Write automated tests (unit, API and UI) and take part in code reviews




Work independently in a large legacy codebase with limited documentation
What you bring
Strong experience in Java web application development
Solid working knowledge of MySQL, including query optimization and data migration
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Experience with automated testing at the unit, API and UI levels
Comfort navigating and improving legacy code without extensive documentation
