About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the overall pharmacy operations within a hospital/clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescribed medications and verify dosage, interactions, and contraindications
Maintain proper storage, labeling, and inventory of pharmaceutical stock
Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for prescription clarifications and patient care plans
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital protocols, and drug safety standards
Maintain accurate records of inventory, prescriptions, and controlled substances
Monitor expiry dates and manage stock rotation to minimize wastage




Assist in procurement and vendor coordination for medical supplies
Support audits and ensure adherence to statutory/legal pharmacy requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, D.Pharm) from a recognized institution
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital, clinic, or retail pharmacy setting
Valid pharmacist registration/license as per state pharmacy council requirements
Strong knowledge of drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmacy software/inventory systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Valuable communication skills for patient counseling and team coordination
Ability to work in shifts, if required

Preferred Attributes
Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or pharmacy management systems
Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety
