Mave Health is building the future of cognitive performance. We make a tDCS wearable headset that targets the prefrontal cortex to improve focus, stress regulation, and mental performance in 20 minutes a day. We're a $2.8Mn funded, quick-moving team working at the frontier of consumer neurotechnology, and we're looking for someone who wants to help define what that category looks like to the world.
We're now building the next generation of the category, and it's not an incremental update, it's a real leap, and nobody's handed us the playbook for it. If you want your name on the thing that gets built next, not just the thing that shipped, this is the role.
Alongside that, you'll keep our current hardware running in the real world: production support, manufacturing issues, the day-to-day of a shipped device.
Support and improve our production hardware as needed - PCB iterations, DFM, bring-up, testing, and debugging of units already in the field.
Interface with external vendors for sourcing, manufacturing, and compliance testing.
Ensure hardware passes compliance (ISO 13485, EMI/EMC, ESD, RE/RI) with support from the team.
Conduct hands-on prototyping, soldering, and board debugging yourself, at every stage.
Strong hands-on experience in electronics/hardware engineering — proficient with Altium and/or KiCad, comfortable with BLE, SPI, I2C, GPIO, JTAG.
Shipped at least one consumer or medical-grade wearable product to production, or equivalent depth.
