GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead quality assurance across the software development lifecycle. The role involves defining test strategies, building automation frameworks, executing validation activities, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure high-quality product releases.

Responsibilities

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for features, enhancements, and risk mitigation

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, functional, integration, and regression test suites

Monitor test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness metrics; support production validation

Lead quality anchor role, coordinating test planning, automation, execution, and defect management across teams

Mentor junior engineers on test design, automation,



and quality practices; drive CI/CD quality gates and shift-left initiatives

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related STEM discipline
- 5–8+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience
- Robust programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Expertise with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or JBehave
- Experience with API testing, REST Assured, Postman, and CI/CD integration (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application testing
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and quality best practices
