The Production Manager is responsible from the extraction-to-finished-actives process chain — from raw-material intake to the standardized alkaloid/extract — managing batch-to-batch variability in raw material, campaign-based production, solvent-intensive operations,



and recovery of value from mother liquors and spent biomass.

Coordinate raw-material (root/bark/seed/leaf/whole-herb) intake with Procurement/Stores, verifying moisture and assay before release to production.

- Oversee solvent extraction of pulverized plant material to isolate target alkaloids/phytoconstituents.
- Ensure every batch is manufactured as per approved BMR/BPCR and SOPs.
- Enforce solvent/chemical handling and process-safety protocols.

M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/Natural Products Chemistry preferred, given the plant-derived, non-synthetic nature of the process.

Experience & Skills Required

- 5-7 years in alkaloid, phytochemical or standardized herbal-extract manufacturing — extraction, isolation, crystallization and purification operations.
- Robust cross-functional coordination with QA/QC, R&D;, Stores and HR.
