Video Editor || Altera Institute - Digiaccel Learning
Altera Institute is looking for a Video Editor to join our content and marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging video content across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, program content, ads, etc.).
Content is at the heart of how we teach, engage, and build brand credibility.
As a Video Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping how learners experience our programs and how the brand communicates with its audience. This is not just an execution role - you will work on high-impact content across learning, marketing, and brand storytelling.

You will be responsible for editing and producing compelling video content across multiple formats - ranging from learning modules and social media content to brand films and event coverage.
You will collaborate closely with the content, marketing, and program teams to ensure that every piece of content is engaging, high-quality, and aligned with the brand's voice.

Edit and produce high-quality videos for learning content (lectures, modules, case-based videos), social media (short-form, reels, performance content) as well as marketing campaigns and brand storytelling

- Add motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and visual enhancements where required
- Ensure consistency in brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Continuously improve editing quality by incorporating new trends, formats, and tools

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

- 6 months – 2 years of experience in video editing (internships/freelance/full-time)
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software




- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound editing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience with short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

- Understanding of performance-driven content and audience engagement
- Basic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

The Video Editor should be flexible and open to taking on additional responsibilities as required.
