We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of advanced medical imaging and visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C++, Qt, OpenGL, MITK, VTK, and Linux-based application development, along with a proven track record of architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems. In this role, you will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving engineering best practices, mentoring development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise-grade medical imaging applications. You will work closely with Product Management, R&D;, UX, QA, and Engineering teams to build innovative solutions that support clinical workflows and healthcare outcomes.

Define and drive software architecture for C++ and Qt-based medical imaging applications.

Design scalable, modular, secure, and high-performance software systems.

Architect solutions integrating MITK, VTK, OpenGL, and Linux platforms.

Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code quality assessments.





Collaborate with Product Management, R&D;, QA, UX, and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Guide development teams on software design principles, coding standards, and engineering best practices.

Evaluate architectural risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Drive performance optimization, scalability improvements, and system reliability initiatives.

Contribute to product roadmaps, technology strategy, and long-term platform evolution.

Review software designs and provide technical leadership across projects.

Support DevOps adoption, CI/CD implementation, and engineering automation initiatives.

Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and healthcare software standards.

812 years of experience in Software Development, Technical Leadership, System Design, or Architecture roles.

- Strong expertise in modern C++ development and object-oriented design principles.
- Deep hands-on experience with the Qt Framework, including GUI development, Signals and Slots, Multithreading, and Custom Widgets.
- Experience working with MITK (Medical Imaging Interaction Toolkit).
- Hands-on experience with OpenGL and advanced graphics rendering techniques.
- Strong Linux development, deployment, and troubleshooting experience.
- Solid understanding of Software Architecture principles and large-scale application design.
- Experience architecting scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software systems.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, software engineering best practices,



and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, performance analysis, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Proficiency with Git and modern software configuration management practices.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum-based development environments.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and modern deployment models.
- Experience in healthcare, medical imaging, diagnostics, or visualization domains is highly preferred.
- Understanding of software compliance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for medical applications.
