Designs, develops, tests, and maintains business applications for Aon's global technology function, delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable software aligned with functional and technical requirements across markets.
Design, develop, and unit-test application code based on business and technical requirements
Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, support
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality releases via CI/CD pipelines




Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services
Stay current with relevant frameworks, languages, and development tools
Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of application development experience in relevant languages/frameworks
- Experience with up-to-date development practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, Agile/Scrum
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus

Programming languages: Java, C#/.NET, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript (per stack)
Web frameworks: Spring Boot, .NET Core, React/Angular, Node.js (as applicable)
Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and/or NoSQL
Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps
Testing frameworks and practices (unit, integration testing)
Strong problem-solving and coding discipline
Collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams
Attention to detail and code quality
