Job Responsibilities

- Set and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform machine setting, tool setting and workpiece loading/unloading.
- Select and set appropriate cutting tools, holders and fixtures.
- Set work offsets, tool offsets and machine parameters.
- Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
- Monitor machining operations and maintain required quality standards.
- Make minor offset corrections based on inspection results.
- Identify machine/tool-related issues and inform the supervisor when required.
- Maintain production targets and follow safety procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.





Required Skills

- Good knowledge of VMC machine operation and setting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures and work offsets.
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and G-code/M-code is an advantage.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
