VMC Programmer – Mastercam / SolidCAM / NX CAM / Delcam and Manual

NovL Solutions Private Limited is hiring experienced VMC Programmers for multiple manufacturing and precision engineering companies across Bengaluru.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on VMC programming experience, either through manual programming or CAD/CAM software.

Mandatory Programming Requirement

Candidates must have practical VMC programming experience in at least ONE of the following:

- Mastercam – Experience with recent/latest versions
- SolidCAM – VMC toolpath and machining program development
- Siemens NX CAM / UG NX – VMC programming
- Delcam / PowerMILL – VMC machining programs
- Manual VMC Programming – G-code / M-code

Proficiency in at least ONE programming method or software package is mandatory. Experience in multiple platforms is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, edit, modify and troubleshoot VMC machining programs.
- Prepare programs manually or using relevant CAD/CAM software.
- Read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Plan machining sequences, tool selection, cutting parameters, speeds and feeds.
- Develop programs for milling, drilling, tapping, boring, pocketing and contour machining.
- Verify machining programs and make corrections during trials.
- Coordinate with VMC setters, operators and production teams.
- Resolve programming-related machining issues and maintain component accuracy and quality.

Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on VMC programming experience
- Engineering drawing interpretation




- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets and machining parameters
- Understanding of VMC machining processes
- Program verification, modification and troubleshooting

Qualification & Experience

ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.

Candidates with strong practical VMC programming experience may also be considered.

Experience requirements vary according to the client company and programming specialization.

This vacancy is specifically for VMC Programmers.

Candidates with only VMC machine operating, component loading or setting experience, without actual programming knowledge, are not eligible.

Employment Information
