Job Title: Junior Security Analyst

Job Summary The Junior Security Analyst is an entry-level role responsible for supporting Security Operations Center (SOC) activities along with basic IT support functions.

The role involves monitoring security alerts, performing initial incident analysis, and assisting users with first-level technical issues under the supervision of senior security and IT teams in a 24×7 environment. Key Responsibilities  Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM and security monitoring tools  Perform initial triage of security incidents and escalate to senior analysts  Assist in documenting security incidents, findings, and remediation actions  Follow SOC procedures, incident response playbooks, and security policies  Support basic IT helpdesk tasks such as password resets and access requests  Assist users with basic hardware, software, and system-related issues  Log, update,



and track IT and security tickets accurately  Ensure compliance with IT and information security policies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity  0–2 years of experience in SOC, IT helpdesk, or technical support (Freshers welcome)  Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and common threats  Fundamental knowledge of networking and operating systems (Windows/macOS)  Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills  Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift workplace.

Preferred Skills  Exposure to SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, ELK)  Awareness of incident response lifecycle and MITRE ATT&CK;  Entry-level certifications such as Security+, CEH, or Network+
