Associate Manager – Customer Service
Family support, service recovery & lasting trust
Trust is earned when things go well.
It is tested when a family needs you most.
Yashodi is building a trusted, professional family-care ecosystem in India. We’re looking for someone who
can make families feel heard, handle difficult situations with maturity and see a problem through to
resolution. Your work will help families feel confident about the care they rely on every day.
Your focus: listen, resolve and follow through.
You will own the family’s service experience after a caregiver joins: check-ins, questions, concerns and
replacement requests. You’ll work closely with our demand and supply teams to understand what
happened, agree on a practical solution and keep everyone informed until the issue is closed.
What you will own
• Stay close to families. Check in after joining, understand how the arrangement is working and catch
concerns early. Respond to calls and messages with warmth, clarity and a clear next step.
• Resolve with judgment. Listen to the family and caregiver, establish the facts and find a fair, practical
way forward. Handle concerns about duties, attendance, behaviour and expectations. Escalate safety
concerns or serious allegations promptly and responsibly.
• Coordinate replacements and recovery. Work with demand and supply teams to arrange suitable
replacements when needed. Communicate timelines honestly, follow up on commitments and help
families navigate disruption with confidence.
• Close the loop and improve the service. Keep accurate records of concerns, actions and
commitments. Confirm whether the solution worked. Bring recurring issues to the founders and help fix
the underlying causes.
What valuable performance looks like
Above all: a resolution the family can rely on. We’ll look at resolution time, repeat complaints, family
satisfaction, placement continuity and replacement turnaround. Sound judgment connects them:
recognising urgency,
choosing a sensible response and making sure the solution holds.
Why join Yashodi now?
Real demand. Rapid growth. Since starting in May 2026, we’ve been doubling every month, screened
more than 5,000 nannies and built a waitlist of over 1,000 families. You will help turn that growth into a
service families trust, stay with and recommend.
A chance to help create a category. Trusted family care remains a large, unresolved problem on the
ground. Think of the operating breakthroughs behind Flipkart’s cash on delivery or Zomato’s delivery
network: growth came from solving the hard parts. For Yashodi, that means making caregiver quality, trust
and reliability repeatable at scale. You will help build that foundation.

The person • The opportunity • The details
Who will thrive here
• Service instinct. Startup DNA. You care about helping people and take responsibility for outcomes. You
notice recurring problems, suggest better ways to work and take initiative to make them happen.
• Calm under pressure. You can listen to an upset parent without becoming defensive, ask thoughtful
questions and explain a solution with confidence. You show empathy while setting respectful, realistic
boundaries.
• Fair judgment. Relentless follow-through. You hear both sides, recognise when an issue needs
escalation and keep your commitments. You remember the details and ensure every open concern has an
owner and a next step.
A strong team. Room to make your mark.
You’ll join a capable, committed team with clear responsibilities and structured ways of working. You’ll work
directly with the founders, shape how we support families and see your contribution in stronger
relationships and better service. As we grow, there is room to take on larger responsibilities and build a
team of your own.
What experience counts?
2+ years in work where you listened to people, handled concerns, coordinated solutions and
followed through until the matter was resolved. This could be customer support, hospitality, account
management, front-office work, operations, counselling or sales with ongoing customer responsibility. You
should have managed several conversations at once, handled difficult situations and earned people’s trust.
Your track record matters more than your industry.
