Role - GCP Cloud L2 Engineer

Provide L2 operational support for Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud
services.
Monitor Azure resources and proactively identify and resolve infrastructure
issues.
Manage and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, VNets,
NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, Azure
SQL and other Azure services.
Perform VM provisioning, resizing, disk management, OS-related
troubleshooting, and other infrastructure changes.
Implement and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations, modules,
variables, state files, and deployment workflows.
Follow change management, incident management, problem management, and
operational procedures.
Perform patching, backup validation, health checks, and security hardening
activities.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving VNet, subnet, NSG, routing,
VPN, DNS, and private endpoints.
Monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerts, and
dashboards.




Support Azure cost optimization activities, including resource utilization analysis
and identification of potential cost-saving opportunities.
Implement and maintain Azure security and compliance best practices.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents.
Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, runbooks, infrastructure details,
and change records.
Coordinate with L1, L3, application, database, security, and network teams for
issue resolution.
Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts/on-call support as required.
Ensure adherence to SLA, incident response, change management, and
operational processes.
Hands-on experience with Terraform
Terraform configuration and deployment
Variables, outputs, providers and modules
Terraform state management
Remote state and state locking
Terraform plan/apply/destroy
Troubleshooting Terraform deployment issues
Experience with AzureRM provider
Basic understanding of Terraform best practices and Infrastructure as Code
