What you'll work on:

- Modernize legacy enterprise applications into cloud-native, microservice-based architectures.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, messaging patterns, and AWS-native services.
- Work with AWS technologies and agile methodologies, including GitHub CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, ECS, Serverless, and related cloud-native development practices.
- Apply AI-assisted software development practices using capabilities such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, support refactoring, generate test cases, improve documentation, and assist with design decisions.
- Perform database development including stored procedures, performance tuning, query optimization, and data access layer enhancements.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for your application, working closely with product and account management teams.
- Collaborate with product owners to further enhance the value proposition of our applications.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we look for:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 14 years of experience building large-scale web-based systems in a Microsoft environment using Angular 15+, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, or related technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and developing microservices is a must.
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture and patterns is a must, including service decomposition, bounded contexts, API design, inter-service communication, distributed transactions, scalability, resiliency, and observability.




- Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed services using .NET Core and C#.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development capabilities such as GitHub Copilot as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to effectively use AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity, generate and review code, assist with unit test creation, support refactoring, improve technical documentation, and evaluate design alternatives.
- Deeper understanding of state management libraries in Angular such as NgRx.
- In-depth knowledge of change detection strategy in Angular is a must.
- In-depth knowledge of RxJS for handling asynchronous operations is a must.
- Understanding of unit test frameworks such as Jasmine and Karma would be useful.
- Working knowledge of AWS technologies and/or Serverless architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Terraform, ECS, and related cloud deployment technologies is a must.
- Fundamental knowledge of DevOps pipelines in TeamCity, GitHub, or Azure.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.

The following experience would be advantageous:

- Data access through ADO.NET.
- WCF and Windows Services.
- Integration services experience,



especially with MQ Series or Web Services.
- Knowledge of UML or similar design languages/methodologies.
- Financial domain knowledge.
- SOA, jQuery, and HTML5.
- Experience with event-driven systems, message queues, distributed tracing, centralized logging, and observability for microservices.
- Experience applying AI-assisted engineering practices to legacy modernization, code migration, cloud transformation, automated testing, or developer workflow optimization.
