The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace, Khajuraho is inviting applications for a Chef de Partie – Indian Cuisine opportunity at its luxury heritage hotel in the Khajuraho region of Madhya Pradesh. This culinary role focuses on preparing Indian dishes with consistent flavour, presentation, food safety and teamwork.

Role Overview

The Chef de Partie supports the Indian kitchen section through organised preparation, coordinated service and careful control of ingredient quality. The successful applicant will work alongside the culinary leadership team and other kitchen colleagues to deliver food that meets the property's exacting guest-service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and present a variety of Indian cuisine preparations to established recipes and plating standards.
- Organise mise en place, check freshness, and maintain readiness for meal periods and special service requirements.
- Coordinate with senior chefs and colleagues to maintain timely service and consistent product quality.
- Follow hygienic storage, safe cooking temperatures, allergen handling and kitchen sanitation procedures.
- Monitor ingredient rotation,



reduce avoidable food waste and care for cooking equipment.
- Guide junior team members as appropriate while maintaining a cooperative kitchen environment.

Relevant Skills

- Practical experience with Indian cookery in a qualified hotel or restaurant kitchen.
- Sound working knowledge of Indian culinary methods, spices, mise en place and presentation.
- Confidence working under service pressure while maintaining safety and cleanliness.
- Good communication, punctuality, organisation and teamwork.
