Job Description:

Position: Design Engineer

Location: Bhilad

Experience: 2 - 4 Years

Industries: Engineering - MNC

Responsibilities:

- Design and development of sheet metal and plastic components using PTC CREO 4.0 and above version
- Able to understand product requirements and ability to create and communicate creative design concepts.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- General understanding of engineering material, sheet metal design, plastic design, manufacturing processes and fabrication methods.
- Knowledge specific machine elements like gear, shaft, pulleys, drive mechanism.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFA, engineering standards.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping and different processes.
- Experience in design change management, engineering change management, drawing release.
- Coordinate and collaborate with industrialization, quality, production and cross-functional team for design feasibility.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and design specifications.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing-related issues and provide suitable engineering solutions.




- Candidates with experience in manufacturing and industrial machinery would be preferred.
