Job Description: Kitchen Designer Responsibilities

Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, and customised storage solutions using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

Prepare layouts, elevations, working drawings, 3D presentations, and detailed design proposals.

Conduct mandatory customer-site visits for measurements, technical assessments, space planning, and feasibility checks.

Understand customer requirements and develop practical, aesthetically appealing, and commercially viable design solutions.

Prepare BOQs, project estimates, quotations, material specifications, and cost calculations.

Demonstrate product features, materials, finishes, accessories, and hardware to customers.

Handle customer inquiries, follow up on quotations, negotiate within approved guidelines, and convert prospective customers into confirmed orders.

Coordinate with production, installation, and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Manage customer relationships throughout the complete project lifecycle, from design consultation to order confirmation, installation, and handover.

Dealer Handling & Business Development: Develop and maintain dealer relationships, coordinate with dealers, generate business opportunities, follow up on leads, and support dealer-driven sales growth.

Undertake customer-site visits, dealer visits, and location-based travel as required.

Contribute directly to showroom revenue, business development, customer retention, and overall sales performance.

At DAMRO, a Modular Kitchen Designer is not merely a design creator but also the owner of the customer's design journey and its commercial conversion.

The selected candidate must take ownership of the entire process—from understanding customer requirements and creating customised designs to presenting proposals, explaining product value, following up with prospective customers, and successfully closing the sale.

An excellent design must translate into a successful business order. Therefore, design expertise, customer relationship management, dealer handling, site visits, and sales conversion are integral responsibilities of this position.

Candidates seeking a purely design-oriented role without direct customer interaction, dealer handling, field visits, and sales closure responsibilities should not apply.

Required Technical & Commercial Skills

✅ AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

✅ SketchUp / KD Max / 3ds Max or equivalent design software

✅ Advanced knowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe design

✅ Interior design, space planning, and 3D visualisation

✅ BOQ preparation, estimation, and quotation development
