City Manager – Retail

Job Purpose

To manage and drive the overall performance of Almond House retail outlets within the assigned city, ensuring sales growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, team performance, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Store Operations: Oversee daily operations of retail outlets within the assigned city and ensure adherence to SOPs and brand standards.
- Sales & Business Performance: Achieve sales targets, improve revenue, monitor outlet performance, and drive profitability.
- Team Management: Lead store managers and frontline staff, manage manpower deployment, and ensure effective team performance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock availability, replenishment, inventory accuracy, product expiry, and wastage control.
- Customer Experience: Maintain high service standards, resolve escalated customer complaints, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure attractive product displays, appropriate product assortment, and consistent brand presentation.
- Financial Control: Monitor operating expenses, cash handling, billing, sales reconciliation, and cost control.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, statutory requirements,



and company policies.
- Reporting: Track outlet-wise sales, operational KPIs, and team performance, and submit regular reports to management.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve store productivity, and strengthen local market performance.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, Hospitality, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

- Relevant experience in retail operations and multi-store management.
- Experience in food retail, confectionery, sweets, FMCG, or hospitality retail is preferred.
- Robust leadership, sales management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple outlets and travel within the assigned city as required.

- Outlet profitability and cost control.
- Inventory accuracy and reduction in wastage.

- Compliance with operational, hygiene, and brand standards.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
