Job Description

Laxmi and Associates, Chartered Accountants, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paid Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting, taxation, auditing, and statutory compliance, along with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in conducting statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliations.
- Assist with income tax returns, TDS/TCS compliance, and related documentation.
- Maintain books of accounts and perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with ROC filings, annual returns, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documents.
- Assist in responding to tax notices and assessment proceedings.
- Coordinate with clients for documents, information,



and compliance requirements.

Requirements

- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, and auditing.
- Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software is an advantage.
- Valuable communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
