Tool & Cutter Grinder Operator

- Role Title: Tool & Cutter Grinder Operator / Machine Operator
- Location: Chakan, Pune
- Positions Open: To be specified
- Experience Required: 1 to 2 years (Experience in operating manual or CNC Tool & Cutter Grinding machines)
- Salary / Budget: ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
- Working Hours: Standard Shop Floor Shift Hours
- Work Mode: On-site / Plant Operational

Key Responsibilities & Role Overview:

- Tool Sharpening & Grinding: Setup and operate Tool & Cutter Grinding machines to sharpen, recondition, and manufacture industrial cutting tools (such as drills, reamers, end mills, milling cutters, and inserts).
- Machine Setup & Wheel Dressing: Select, mount, dress, and balance appropriate abrasive grinding wheels according to tool specifications and geometry requirements.
- Precision Inspection:



Interpret technical engineering drawings and blueprints; inspect ground tools using precision measuring gauges (micrometers, profile projectors, height gauges) to ensure tight tolerances.
- Maintenance & Quality: Perform routine machine maintenance, monitor coolant flow, and prevent tool burning or heat defects during grinding.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education / Trade: ITI in Machinist / Grinder trade or equivalent technical diploma.
- Skills: Hands-on experience with Tool & Cutter Grinder setups, knowledge of cutting tool geometries/relief angles, blueprint reading, and measurement tools.
