About British School of Language

British School of Language (BSL), Kolkata, is looking for a passionate, skilled, and dedicated German Language Trainer to join our growing team. We are seeking a trainer who can deliver engaging online German language classes and help learners develop their language proficiency with confidence.

Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and interactive online German language classes for students and working professionals.
- Teach German at beginner and intermediate levels (A1–B1).
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, and assignments.
- Improve students' German speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation skills.
- Provide regular feedback and monitor students' learning progress.
- Prepare students for Goethe-Zertifikat examinations, wherever applicable.
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and learner-friendly online classroom workplace.
- Conduct demo classes for prospective students when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Strong proficiency in the German language (minimum B2 level; C1 preferred).




- Relevant German language certification from Goethe-Institut, TELC, ÖSD, or an equivalent recognised institution.
- Previous German language teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good command of English for explaining German concepts to beginners.
- Comfortable conducting live online classes using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
- Must have a laptop/desktop, stable internet connection, and a suitable teaching environment.
- Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their language-learning goals.
