Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and journal entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports, management reports, and financial analysis.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure timely settlements.
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required schedules, documents, and explanations.
- Review expenses, invoices, purchase orders,



and supporting documentation.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Support internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
- Mentor junior accountants and review their work where required.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in statutory audits and tax compliance.
- Knowledge of applicable GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements where relevant.
- Experience preparing MIS and management reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled accounting qualification such as CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
