## About the Role

Shub Studios is looking for a creative, technically skilled, and passionate AI Filmmaker to work on SETU SAMUDRA, an ambitious AI-generated feature film project planned for approximately 120 minutes.

The selected candidate will work directly with the project creator in Udupi and help transform the screenplay into cinematic visuals using generative AI technologies.

This is not a conventional video editing or social media content creation role. We are looking for someone who understands filmmaking and can use AI image generation, AI video generation, cinematic camera movements, scene development, and professional editing techniques to create realistic, high-quality film sequences.

The candidate will be involved in the production process from visual planning and character creation to AI video generation, scene assembly, and post-production.

## Key Responsibilities

### 1. AI Image Generation and Character Development

* Create realistic, cinematic, high-quality AI-generated images for feature film production.

* Develop consistent character references, character sheets, and visual references.

* Maintain consistency in characters' faces, appearances, hairstyles, costumes, and physical features across multiple scenes.

* Create realistic locations, environments, backgrounds, props, and scene elements.

* Develop visual references for important characters, locations, vehicles, and other recurring elements.

### 2. AI Video Generation

* Convert approved images, visual references, and detailed prompts into cinematic video sequences.

* Work with AI video generation tools such as Google Flow, Kling AI, Higgsfield AI, PixVerse, or equivalent platforms.

* Experiment with different AI models and workflows to achieve realistic, cinematic results.

* Generate multiple shots and sequences while maintaining character and location continuity.

* Identify and correct visual errors, unnatural movements, inconsistent appearances, and AI-generated artifacts.

### 3. Scene Development and Shot Planning

* Break down screenplay scenes into individual shots and sequences.

* Prepare detailed prompts covering camera angles, camera movements, lighting, framing, environment, character actions, and visual mood.

* Plan cinematic shots, including aerial shots, wide shots, close-ups,



tracking shots, POV shots, and other appropriate camera techniques.

* Develop scene-by-scene visual plans in coordination with the project creator.

* Ensure that every scene follows the approved screenplay and creative direction.

### 4. Props, Costumes, Locations, and Visual Continuity

* Identify the props, costumes, vehicles, backgrounds, and other visual elements required for each scene.

* Create and maintain visual references for recurring characters and locations.

* Ensure continuity between consecutive shots and scenes.

* Organize generated assets systematically for easy revision and reuse.

### 5. Video Editing and Post-production

* Assemble AI-generated clips into complete cinematic scenes.

* Use professional editing tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent software.

* Handle transitions, pacing, colour correction, basic sound synchronization, and scene assembly.

* Coordinate the integration of dialogue, voiceovers, sound effects, and background music.

* Prepare previews and review versions for feedback and approval.

### 6. AI Production Workflow

* Develop an efficient, repeatable workflow for AI-based feature film production.

* Maintain organized folders for scripts, prompts, images, video clips, audio, and final scenes.

* Track generation attempts, revisions, production progress, and approved assets.

* Optimize AI tool usage, generation credits, production time, and output quality.

* Research and test new AI filmmaking technologies as they become available.

### 7. Collaboration and Reporting

* Work directly with the project creator at the Udupi office.

* Understand the screenplay and creative instructions before developing each scene.

* Present generated shots and scenes for review and approval.

* Implement feedback and revisions promptly.

* Provide regular updates on completed shots, pending work, technical issues, and production progress.

## Required Skills and Qualifications

* Practical experience with generative AI image and video creation.

* Strong understanding of cinematic visual storytelling and camera language.

* Ability to write detailed, structured prompts for image and video generation.

* Experience maintaining character consistency across multiple AI-generated shots.

* Knowledge of cinematic lighting, composition, framing, and camera movement.





* Working knowledge of professional video editing software.

* Good visual judgment and attention to detail.

* Ability to troubleshoot AI generation errors and improve results through iteration.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage production assets.

* Ability to work full-time from our Udupi office.

* Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving AI filmmaking workflows.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience creating AI short films, cinematic trailers, advertisements, music videos, or narrative sequences.

* Experience using Google Flow, Kling AI, Higgsfield AI, PixVerse, or similar tools.

* Knowledge of colour grading, compositing, VFX, motion graphics, and sound design.

* Experience with character reference workflows and multi-shot visual continuity.

* A portfolio demonstrating realistic AI-generated scenes or film sequences.

* A background in filmmaking, cinematography, animation, visual effects, or video production is an advantage.
