Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Site Engineer to support the execution and supervision of railway yard infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site activities, monitoring construction progress, coordinating with contractors and project teams, and ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at railway yard project sites.
- Monitor railway yard development works, including earthwork, excavation, embankment, formation, drainage, and track-related civil works.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and instructions from senior engineers.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, supervisors, and other site personnel.
- Check site measurements, levels, alignment, and setting-out activities.
- Assist in railway track formation, ballast-related works, track bed preparation, and other associated civil works, as applicable.
- Monitor construction of culverts, retaining structures, platforms, service roads, boundary walls, and drainage systems.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site measurement records, material consumption reports, and work inspection requests.
- Coordinate with quality control teams for material testing, field density tests, concrete tests, and other required inspections.
- Ensure availability of construction materials, manpower, and equipment at the site.




- Identify site issues and coordinate with design and project teams for timely resolution.
- Follow project safety procedures, railway safety requirements, and site-specific work permits.
- Support preparation of bills, quantity measurements, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with railway officials, consultants, and client representatives during inspections.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Required Experience

- 1–5 years of experience in civil construction, railway infrastructure, railway yard development, track works, or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Candidates with direct railway yard or railway track project experience will be preferred.

Technical Skills

- Knowledge of railway yard construction and civil engineering activities.
- Understanding of construction drawings, levels, alignment, and surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel is preferred.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ, and measurement books.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and construction safety standards.
- Knowledge of total station and auto level operations is an advantage.

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.

Preferred Candidates: Candidates with experience in railway yard development, track formation, earthwork, drainage, and associated railway civil infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
