# Part-Time Junior Therapy Assistant / Special-Education Support – Khammam

**Location:** Khammam, Telangana

**Job type:** Part-time, work at child's home

**Hours:** 2 hours per day, 6 days per week

**Monthly remuneration:** ₹8,000–₹10,000, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

### About the role

We are seeking a patient, caring and reliable person to support our 5-year-old son with developmental delays at home. His grandmother will usually be present during working hours.

The child already has occupational therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy home programmes. The selected candidate will help practise activities prescribed by his existing therapists.

### Responsibilities

- Encourage communication, imitation, turn-taking and purposeful play.

- Practise approved fine-motor activities using large, safe toys.

- Assist with therapist-approved movement and balance activities.

- Follow a written daily activity plan and maintain a simple progress log.

- Communicate observations and concerns to the family.

- Maintain a safe,



supportive and patient environment.

### Preferred qualifications

- Background in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, special education or early intervention.

- Relevant training or supervised experience working with children with developmental delays.

- Fresh graduates may apply if suitably trained and willing to work under professional guidance.

- Telugu communication skills preferred.

### Key requirements

This is a home-based support role, not an independent clinical therapist position unless the candidate holds the relevant qualifications. Feeding/oral-motor therapy, specialised sensory protocols and challenging physiotherapy exercises must only be undertaken with appropriate professional instruction.
