Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Layout Control

- Interpret highway/road design drawings, cross-sections, and alignment data to set out centerlines, slopes, and cambers.
- Supervise day-to-day earthwork operations, including clearing, grubbing, excavation, embankment filling, and subgrade preparation.
- Monitor road pavement layers such as Granular Sub-Base (GSB), Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), Bituminous Concrete (BC), and Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM).
- Oversee the construction of roadside drainage systems, culverts, retaining walls, and minor bridges. [1, 2]

2. Quality Control & Testing

- Inspect material deliveries (aggregates, bitumen, steel, cement) to verify they match contract specifications and standards.
- Coordinate and witness field density tests (FDT), California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests, slump tests, and core-cutting tests.
- Check layer thickness, compaction levels, surface smoothness,



and grade elevations during and after roller operations. [1, 2]

3. Progress Monitoring & Documentation

- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), site order books, material receipt registers, and labour/machinery logs.
- Assist in taking site measurements and preparing Measurement Books (MB) as well as contractor billing inputs.

4. Safety & Traffic Management

- Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols, PPE usage, and equipment guidelines in office.
- Set up proper traffic diversion plans, warning signboards, and barricades to protect workers and public commuter
- Track actual work against planned milestone schedules and report delays or bottlenecks to the Project Manager.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
