About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Purchase Executive with a strong background in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate should have excellent vendor management skills, strong pricing negotiation capabilities, and the ability to ensure timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for raw materials, chemicals, pharmaceutical products, and other required materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Stores, Warehouse, Accounts, and Operations, to meet procurement requirements.
- Monitor market prices, material availability, and supplier performance.
- Verify purchase invoices,



delivery documents, and other procurement-related records.
- Resolve vendor-related issues concerning pricing, quality, shortages, and delayed deliveries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–10 years of experience in purchase and procurement within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry — mandatory.
- Hindi-speaking proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong skills in pricing negotiation and vendor management.
- Positive understanding of procurement processes, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to compare quotations and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase-related documentation.
