We are looking for an entrepreneurial, execution-driven Purchase Lead to establish our material purchase and dispatch engine. In this role, you will be the custodian of material procurement, owning the inventory handling, dispatches, processes and systems and maintaining vendor relations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Material purchase

- Panels and inverter stock procurement as well as project specific single purchase
- BOS procurement - Complete knowledge of BOS for solar systems.
- Structure materials - Customised and standard pre fab structures.
- Ability to run multiple state procurement

2. Inventory handling

- Full ownership of inward and outward process.
- Maintain proper records of project consumption using BOM, and ensuring dispatch accuracy
- Complete ownership of PI/PO/invoice for material inward, and Gate pass, outward entry for dispatch
- On-time material dispatch and logistics

3. Metrics to be handled

- Purchase and logistics cost




- Dispatch accuracy (OTIF)
- Book and physical inventory

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on purchase experience in solar industry
- Solar material knowledge: Prefer candidates with knowledge about materials - Panels, Inverters, BOS, structures.
- Inventory management system - Knowledge of using ERP like Zoho or any other WMS.
- Program Management: Strong organizational ability to run a multi-state operations
