THE JOB

PREPRATION OF SHOP DRAWINGS FOR PRODUCTION

- Preparation of 2D - CADD drawings of furniture for production shop floor from Design Intent Drawings and construction sketches or pictures/imagery provided to you.
- Drawing shall be made in such a way that the piece can be made without any verbal explanation i.e. ease and every detail shall be explicit to the workman.
- Full scale drawing of furniture – and printing drawings at factory and outside for ease of production.
- Preparation of working drawing of products AS BUILT after completion.
- You shall generate min 1-2 Drawings per Day

QUALITY CONTROL & DESIGN COORDINATION

- Sharing correct drawings with production department to ensure that the furniture is made identical to the designs approved by the client or sales team.
- Supervision of quality of production at various stages of production at the factory from material selection to cutting to processting to carpentry to polishing till loading or handling over to dispatch.
- Selection of materials like stone / glass / wood / veneer etc. in the market.




- Supervision of quality of production at various stages of production at the vendor’s factories.
- Supervising the packing and dispatch of furniture by teams to avoid damages during packing. Loading and unloading in critical cases / projects.
- Checking of templates for various products or providing full scale drawings to workers and vendors

SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

- Doing BOQ / BOM for fabrics, timber, play, veneer, hardware and stone etc.
- Prepration of cutting list for materials for production
- Communicate to Vendors and take quotations for Outsourced items
- You are required to submit and timesheet / program / progress / Hurdles sheet everyday
- Taking site measurements for cabinetry works and other customized items and preparing of drawings accordingly.
- Helping installation team to install the furniture as per drawings
- Coordinate with sales team and occasionally with customers and his agencies to get relevant data required for successful production.

PREFERRED CANIDATES

- 3D Drawings or Modeling – Rhinos / 3D max
- Willing to learn new skills in design / manufacturing / drawings.
- Worked in a Mechanized Furniture Factory.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
