Job Summary

JECRC Foundation is looking for a skilled and technically proficient Sound Engineer to manage audio systems and sound requirements for institutional events, seminars, conferences, lectures, cultural programmes, and other official functions. The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating sound equipment and ensuring explicit, high-quality audio output.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manage sound systems, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and audio consoles.
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio equipment before events and programmes.
- Manage live sound during seminars, conferences, workshops, cultural events, and official functions.
- Ensure clear audio output and prevent feedback, distortion, and other sound-related issues.
- Coordinate with the event, technical, and administrative teams for audio requirements.
- Maintain and monitor audio equipment, cables, and accessories.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of sound equipment.
- Manage audio recording and playback requirements whenever required.
- Ensure timely setup and dismantling of audio equipment after events.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Certificate in Sound Engineering,



Audio Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant hands-on experience and technical skills may also be considered.

Experience

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in sound engineering, live audio management, or AV operations preferred.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of sound mixers, microphones, amplifiers, speakers, and audio systems.
- Understanding of audio signal flow, sound balancing, and feedback control.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage live-event requirements.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during events outside regular working hours, whenever required.
