We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our construction and engineering company. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in accounting, GST, TDS, billing, bank reconciliation, and vendor management.

Candidates with prior experience in construction, contracting, or engineering companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries using Tally Prime.
- Handle GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax-related work.
- Record purchase and sales entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare e-invoices and e-way bills as required.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain bank records.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Handle billing, payment follow-ups, and outstanding payment tracking.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Prepare reports and maintain accounting data using MS Excel.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers,



and internal departments regarding accounts and payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a relevant qualification.
- 2–5 years of practical accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, purchase/sales entries, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience in billing, vendor/customer ledger maintenance, and payment follow-ups.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of Income Tax.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates who have worked with a construction company, contractor, or engineering company and understand project-related accounting and vendor payments will be given preference.
