Media Star is an AI-powered video entertainment platform for short, serialized video dramas. We're a lean, fast-moving team building a new kind of storytelling product from the ground up.

About the Role

You'll own the operations behind how Media Star earns revenue: subscriptions, pay-per-episode unlocks and coin/wallet models. You'll keep payment data accurate, reconcile it against payment platforms, and turn the numbers into reports and recommendations. You'll work with the Payments Lead and with Production, Promotion and Engineering.

What You'll Do

- Maintain payment and revenue trackers in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on revenue, subscribers, conversion, ARPU and churn.
- Reconcile payment platform records with internal records and resolve mismatches.
- Track successful, failed and refunded transactions, and identify trends in failures and refunds.
- Escalate payment issues and user complaints with clear details.
- Analyze pricing, offers and conversion data, and recommend options to the Payments Lead.
- Build dashboards and maintain documentation for month-end close.





What We're Looking For

- 1-3 years in revenue operations, finance operations, payments, analytics or a similar role.
- Degree in commerce, finance, business, economics or a related field.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
- Hands-on reconciliation experience and strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of subscription metrics such as ARPU, conversion and churn.
- Clear communication and comfort working independently in a startup.

Nice to Have

- Razorpay, Stripe or PayPal dashboard experience.
- Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks exposure.
- Looker Studio, Power BI or basic SQL.
- Background in a subscription, OTT or coin-based content platform.
