Location - Kolkata/Delhi

Area Manager D&E; (Architecture) role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in the design and engineering of light-prefab construction solutions, aligning with Solutions’s business objectives. This role involves ensuring the D&E; team can solve complex assignments, deliver engineered solutions for overall infrastructure projects, and foster solution innovation using newer construction technologies. The Principal Architect will lead the development of architectural concepts and designs for major projects, establish and maintain architectural standards and best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives. They will oversee the preparation of drawings, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

Furthermore, the role includes mentoring junior architects and design teams, reviewing design proposals, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and managing project budgets and schedules. A key aspect is to drive innovation in design, materials, and construction methods, while also presenting design concepts to clients and resolving complex technical challenges. The Principal Architect will also focus on resilient design, creating buildings that withstand extreme weather events and minimize environmental impact. They will integrate digital tools like BIM, VR, and AR to enhance precision, collaboration, and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. The role also encompasses ensuring health and safety practices, managing design work to comply with building regulations, and coordinating with other professionals to ensure safety is considered throughout the design process.

Other details

Full-time Degree in Architecture/ Civil or equivalent is mandatory.

M.S./M.Tech in Architecture/Civil is preferable. Chartered Engineer Preferred.
