Job Summary

Magnus Technologies LLP is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong expertise in financial accounting, GST compliance, taxation, cost accounting, and financial reconciliation. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of statutory regulations, financial reporting, and accounting software, with the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle GST filing, taxation, and statutory compliance, including preparation and timely submission of returns.
- Perform general ledger, bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
- Oversee cost accounting, including cost analysis, cost allocation, variance analysis, and cost-control measures.
- Manage E-Way Bill generation, verification, and compliance with GST regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and periodic financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support statutory and tax audits.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable,



and outstanding balances.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- CA / CMA qualification.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management.
- Solid practical knowledge of GST filing, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in accounts reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Sound expertise in cost accounting and cost analysis.
- Hands-on experience in E-Way Bill processing and compliance.

Technical Skills

Proficiency or working experience in accounting and ERP software, including:

- Tally
- SAP
- SICO
- ERP systems
- Peachtree (Sage 50)

- Sound understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple accounting responsibilities.
