Job Summary

Sukoon Health is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across OPD, IPD, and Rehabilitation services. The role involves medication management, therapeutic oversight, multidisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to high clinical, safety, and quality standards, supporting patient-centric care within Sukoon’s psychiatric hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily IPD clinical rounds and oversee inpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct OPD psychiatric consultation sessions
- Assess patients and formulate individualized treatment and medication plans
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical care as directed by Sukoon Health
- Execute clinical programs as directed by the Clinical Centre Head
- Keep residents engaged through therapeutic and recovery-oriented activities
- Participate in training and upskilling of nursing staff as directed by the Centre Head
- Collaborate closely with the Quality department to implement safety and quality standards
- Maintain a strong patient-first and ethical clinical approach
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, nurses, and therapists
- Suggest and recommend strategies for organizational and clinical growth
- Support PR,



outreach, and academic initiatives through workshops and CMEs

Key Requirements & Competencies

Education & Certification

- MBBS with MD in Psychiatry from an accredited medical institution
- Valid medical council registration (mandatory)

Experience

- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a practicing psychiatrist
- Experience in psychiatric hospitals, IPD/OPD, or rehabilitation settings preferred

- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Expertise in psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric treatment

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹210,000.00 per month
